i reached home pretty late. noticed a group of gorgeous Filipino guys hanging at a void deck nearby. Kamusta?

reached home and freshen up. sleeping time, goodnight.

i woke up to an aromatic smell from the kitchen. grandma is cooking Kuah Ayam Lemak.

makes me hungry and moved my butt out of bed.

nice and delicious breakfast. thank you grandma.

and again i go Bananas. this time i had it with Chocolate Cookies and Black Coffee.

to die for combination once in my mouth. yummylicious. don't try this at home but go ahead if you want to know what i meant. no harm, no risk.

grandma went out for jalan Raya. i stayed home and collect more fats by not burning my calories. laying and rolling on the floor. free and easy activity. after flipping from one TV channel to another i'm getting bored.

let's go out for a walk or chatting online.

i went to Balestier Internet. had some chat with Zerr online while updating my blog journal.

10minutes to 1700hrs. i'm ending the session soon. see you later Zerr in the evening.

went home and helped grandma. her friends turn to visit our house.

by 1903hrs i ran away from the 'golden girls' at home. laughed. no. i meant i went out to meet Sam at Serangoon Plaza. we had dinner. thank you Sam for your Vegetable Burger Set Meal treat at Komalla's Villas.


Sam looks so hungry. we had a good chat over words meant to be secret. trust me Sam i keep it to my grave, i swear.

after the lovely dinner. i rushed to HarbourFront. going to Batam. my ferry scheduled at 2130hrs.

i felt the ferry was flying this time. so fast yet so smooth journey.


i'm eager to meet Zerr. Zerr would be waiting for me at Studio 21, Nagoya Hill for a movie. i promised i would reached there by 2130wib. i told Zerr to proceed first without me but come and fetch me at the lobby at the stipulated time given.

i make it on time infact i was 08minutes earlier.

we watched Legenda Sundel Bolong. i would not recommend this show to anyone who really looking forward to a good horror movie.

it's boring. period. only save for the beautiful actress, Jian Batari Anwar. good location set and props. thumbs up for the set and art director.

once the show is over, i badly critised the film to Zerr, an avid listener on my critism. i still preferred the Suzanna version of Sundel Bolong.

nothing beats to that. again, period. satay! let's go and have Satay.

went to Sari Eko next to Nagoya Plaza for good Satay. just like in Singapore, we have Satay Club.




a consolation of my dissapointment are met. nice Satay Kambing Kuah Kacang Suroboyo. oh yes! i met the charming Andie Padang and his wife. wife? that lady looks 10 years his senior. i just believed him. congratulations too.

well my mind suddenly shot to thinking of Satay Kajang that i would have this Thursday.

met Tom at Nasi Lemak Stall.

i went to Serangoon Road main road to take peek at the procession of the Fire Walking Festival participant. bumped into Lis or also known as Siti. it's been sometime i have not seen him.



still the same Lis. he just came out to work.

Tom asked me to accompany him to Amy Popeye house at Eunos Crescent.

my first time to visit Kak Amy house after she moved. very long time i have not seen her.

Kak Rosa, Kak Fira and Kak was also at Kak Amy house. jalan Raya they say.

once seated we helped ourselves to the Nasi Lemak we bought earlier on.

while eating we were entertained by Cher. watching Cher Farewell Video remind us she is not just a diva. Cher is a legend.


many talks and gossip let loose. it was a chirpy atmosphere in the wee hours. the session ended around 0600hrs when we decided to leave.

thank you Kak Amy for being a kind, wonderful and happening host, as always. see you again.

i took express bus service 59 home. i arrived in less than 30 minutes.

freshen up and gone to bed. goodnight grandma.

i woke up around 1330hrs. thank you to my loyal alarm.

grandma bought lunch. Nasi Briyani Ayam. grandma self make condiments of Achar Timun Nenas goes along very well with the rice.

superlicious yummy. thank you grandma. i'm going Bananas when i see it hidden in a plastic bag. a perfect dessert.

like many times i said. Bananas will make you happy. monkey me.

i watched one of my favourite musical film 'The Producers' starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick and Uma Thurman on HBO.

my favourite character in this movie is Roger De Bris acted by Gary Beach. hillarious. i sweared. another thing i loved about this movie is it's costume by William Ivey Long. smiled.

late evening when 'Pangako Sayo' theme was soaring in the living room, i decided to go and visit my friend in Golden Mile Complex. rearranging my holiday trip. it is along way to go but better than last minute. agreed on many suggestion but yet not confirmed. Nit always provide me with plenty option.

after 3 hours of sinking myself in the web surfing world i decided to go home.

i managed to catch the bus service 21 that passed by my house.

i missed my office. hope all my colleague are coping well.

yes, i promised to replace my 19th century laptop, come this January.

we spend around 3 hours at the internet cafe. i'm getting sleepy. let's go home i suggest.

we waited for sometime for a taxi. rejected a number of taxis due to the taxi driver crazy demand on the fare. in Batam, you must bargain with the taxi driver for a good deal before boarding. there is no metered fare taxi.

Zerr do most of the talking and bargaining.

me? i do most is snapping pictures.

where is a kind taxi driver? we normally pay INR20,000 to INR25,000 per trip. direct to the front door.

upon reaching home. freshen up and sleep.

i woke up at 0655wib. waiting for the bread and bun peddler to pass by. i heard the horn from afar. i bought 5 types of buns and breads. my favourite this time is the Chocolate Rice and Cheddar Cheese Bun

since Zerr is asleep and did not intend to wake up. i finished all the buns and bread. smiled.

i watch Saw and Saw 2 DVD while Zerr is sleeping.

Zerr woke up in time for lunch. we get ready and i packed my belongings. i'm going back to Singapore this afternoon. let's go to BCS, Zerr suggested. it started to rain outside.


we brave the rain and made it to stopped an angkot to Nagoya. nothing strange, it did not rain halfway there.

BCS. we ought to try and eat out at Seoul Garden.

to my disappointment, the lack of choice turn us away. not like its franchise in Singapore, you are spoilt for choices.

we settled for Breeks.


i had Spaghetti with Beef Sauce and Zerr settled for Seafood Marinara Spaghetti


the choice of drinks are interesting. Zerr asked for Ocean, a creamy delicious white and blue drink. i opted for Blue Dolphin. a Sprite and Apple flavoured drinks.

i enjoyed the drinks buit not the food. the taste is bland and boring. the service staff is efficient and friendly. the setting reminds me of Billy Bombers Restaurant. the female floor manager is over efficient, clearing my plate without asking. she was so fast that i could not say "stop!". there goes my sliced Tomato and Beef Sauce. upsetting.

we went to watch a live music band playing at BCS foyer. Zerr was invited on stage by his MC colleague. belting a duet with the band.


we received a t-shirts as a token. thank you.

we later went to Nagoya Hill to pick up Zerr silver ring and chain which was send for repair.

stopped by and browsing the Anti-Corruption awareness programme at Nagoya Hill Food Mall.

corruption is a disease. avoid at all cause.

went for Coffe and Cakes at Morning Bakery outlet nearby. i had Kek Madu with Black Coffee.

Zerr chose not to have anything except for a cuppa.

we say our goodbyes and i head down to Harbour Bay by ojek. take care Zerr. be good.

my ferry scheduled for 1630wib. i arrived early. very early.

i slept on my way back to Singapore. a good nap

i decided to go to Little India. soaking in the Sunday crowd. it was buzzing with foreign workers and foreign visitors. locals add in the crowd.




i have to pushed myself out of the bodily entanglement. stuffy here. i noticed on the board that there will be a procession of Hindu devotees tonight. Fire Walking Festival. better go home.

passed by the newly renovated hotel driveway of New Park.

nice design. i like it. nice to the eyes.

grandma jumped to the kitchen seeing me home. cooking dinner.

we will have Sup Laksa. thank you so much grandma.

i took some rest before deciding to meet Tom later. going to pass Tom his CD's.

freshen up and around 2230hrs i'm on my way to Rowell Road.

i went to internet 103 before meeting Tom later.
