i reached home and saw the Serunding is done.
i'm sure grandma will packed it tomorrow. she cooked with a lot of love in it.
freshen up and tried to sleep early. i can't. i was hook to HBO, watching a movie based on true event, BTK murder. it was to 0230hrs. switch off the TV and went to sleep.
i woke up to rush sahur again. smile. i had Soto Ayam with Vegetarian Pau and a Banana.
the Soto Ayam was too spicy but the Banana make me happy. Banana happy.
i made myself ready for work. went to Toa payoh Central to do some errand. Hari Raya errands.
felt good and different this morning.
work was fine. glad.
i received a pen from Candy as a farewell gift. it would be Candy last few days with us before she complete her attachment.
thank you Candy and all the best luck for everything in future.
i completed my work on time going home immediately. i was excited as i got a date. a date with my grandma. we are goin to Geylang.
i reached home to fetch grandma. so happy and excited. we left home at 1732hrs.
took the MRT to Paya Lebar.
first stop was Tanjong Katong Complex grandma is looking for new blouse. something interest her but she felt the price was not right. moved on.
we ended up in Banquet Food Court at Haig Road, buka puasa. i had Nasi Ayam and grandma had Kway Teow Goreng. no problem in finding a seat. we shared a table with a loving couple. thank you for the seat.
i tried to finish my food and helped grandma to finish hers. laugh.
let 's get the shopping continue. from Haig Road to Joo Chiat Complex.
i have decided not to buy anything. i went to Geylang all for grandma needs. i just followed around.

as we were browsing some clothing at RH Fashion, we bumped into Tok Saadon. grandma younger brother.
Tok Saadon was there to collect his wife, Nek Eton altered blouse.
next stop, carpet store. grandma was fierce in the bargaining. i was tickling inside looking at how good my grandma is with her words. the carpet salesman won't give in. neither my grandma will give up.
no good price, no buy. my grandma policy.
we proceed to the bazaar at Kampung Melayu.
the Traffic Police was doing a good job. well done. all traffic was in control. human and vehicle.
it's getting crowded. great.
grandma was looking for some artificial flowers. i was looking for a seat for her to rest.
we ended having a break at a foodcourt below Tri-Star Hotel.
i was sitting next to this 7 layer of big pots. imagine how many Briyani Dam was sold, and now imagine how much they have earn. this Briyani must be good that they finished before end of the day.
we had Chempedak and Pisang Goreng. nice. i like. 3 Pisang Goreng and 3 Chempedak Goreng was for myself. grandma had 1 each.
3 hours spend and grandma only got a suit of Baju Kurung. i could get 2 pairs of original Levi's with that price. smiled. will collect tomorrow as it need some alteration.
we stopped at Tanjong Katong Complex for a second break. i really need to use the washroom. relieved. thank GOD the toilet was invented.
grandma was amused and impressed by this busker.
grandma even parted her cash for this simple entertainment.
this is the place where grandma loved. the carpet auction caught her attention. and she is all excited. almost buying a Persian carpet at the price of S$140.00
we spend the longest time here looking the auction while grandma sitting at a corner with an Ice Cream on her hand. smiled.
decided to go home it's 2307hrs on my wrist watch.
we stopped by at Haig Road again. grandma wanted to buy some freshly made Otah-Otah for my uncle at home. the queue was long but grandma managed to used her friendliness skill by asking someone in the front queue to buy for her. i am amazed and had a big smile.
let's go home. by bus.
i was not a long wait. smiled.
i am tired. so is grandma. and so is this lady sat next to grandma and opposite me. the only thing that bothered me was, we are tired and shopping happy. while the lady is tired and being rude. rude for putting her feet on the empty seat next to me.
mind you, next time. we don't own this bus.
